There are many ways to volunteer at HOMe both on and off site. In house opportunities include female volunteers to cover shifts on weekends and an occasional night shift. Although we have two full time, round-the-clock staff, they will need time off and our program requires that we have a HOMe representative in the house at all times. Please click "In-House Opportunities" on the menu to see more details.
Off site opportunities include mowing the grass, holding a women's and children's clothing drive (sizes will be noted), holding a food drive, sending encouraging cards to our families and being a part of The Light Is Always On Event.
Volunteer: Help with organizing and stocking supplies, food prep and cooking lessons, hosting bible study groups, individual friendship / listening, and youth projects. Do you have a personal or professional skill you could teach or share?
Financial donations: Please consider your church or business becoming a HOMe sponsor with a financial contribution that will support our programs.
Brick Fundraiser: Purchasing a personalized engraved brick for a family member, friend or loved one will help pave the way to the front door. Purchase through our website or for a hard copy order form, please contact Bonnie Batatlia at Bonnie.Battalia@ HopeofMooresville.org
Community Awareness: Support Hope of Mooresville by sharing our mission. We would love the opportunity to come speak to your group. Contact Bonnie Battalia, Community Coordinator at Bonnie.Battalia@hopeofmooresville.org.
Hope of Mooresville appreciates the generosity of the community through donations. Collection drives for new and gently used women’s clothes, children’s clothes and household items will be scheduled in early Fall 2017. Please be sure to check our Facebook page or specific needs and more details.
